parenthood. Empowering growth,
one family at a time.

ESW is built on one belief: that the right support, provided early enough, changes everything. ESW works with families, wherever they are in their journey, to build the conditions children need to thrive, whether through early prevention or in moments of crisis.

Our Approach

The ESW standard is built on
what actually works.

Every ESW program is designed around what developmental research and decades of direct experience confirm — not wellness trends or generalized advice. We ground our work in the science of child development and what families need to cultivate within the home to support it at every stage. Our approach is rooted in establishing a safe and supportive family environment as the foundation for your child to explore, learn, and grow with confidence, giving families the clarity, consistency, and tools to build that foundation intentionally.

ESW walks alongside you as a parenting partner.
01
Evidence-Informed,
Not Generic
Every ESW program is built on developmental science and decades of direct experience with children and families— not wellness trends or one-size-fits-all solutions. Your plan is shaped around your child, your family's values, and your goals. The research informs the framework; your family defines the plan.
02
Preventive and Supportive
When It Matters Most
ESW is designed to meet families before challenges arise and alongside them when they do. By building the habits, communication patterns, and family dynamics that create stability, ESW reduces the likelihood of challenges escalating — and strengthens a family's ability to navigate them when they do.
03
A Living Plan,
Not a Fixed Program
Children grow and families evolve. The ESW Roadmap moves with you— reviewed, refined, and adjusted across each cycle so the support your family receives always reflects your current situation, not where you were when you started.
Who We Are

A team focused on family wellness.

ESW brings together expertise from disciplines that rarely speak the same language — but should. Our programs are shaped by:

  • A deep understanding of human development
  • The impact of social-emotional connections on growth
  • The essentials of maintaining physical wellness
  • The educational science of how children learn and master skills
  • The holistic understanding of how stress and family dynamics affect families from the inside out
Founder, Lead Educator & Director of Programs
Soraya Valentin
M.Ed., Educational Leadership  ·  B.S., Biology

Soraya founded ESW from a place every parent knows well — the deep desire to get it right for your child. As a parent herself, and with over two decades working alongside families and children across schools and communities both here and abroad, she came to understand something that changed how she saw her work entirely: the most powerful classroom a child will ever have is home. That understanding is at the heart of everything ESW does. Soraya brings over two decades of experience working closely with children, families, and educators to ESW— translating research and real experience into practical, personalized support for every family ESW works with.

Dr. Chilosi brings a holistic lens to ESW's family wellness work, with a background spanning conventional medicine and holistic wellness. Her expertise in trauma-informed and integrative family health informs ESW's program design — ensuring the full spectrum of what families carry is recognized and met with genuine care. When parenting challenges intersect with deeper stress, emotional strain, or complex family dynamics, her perspective helps ESW approach those conversations with intention and equips families to recognize when additional professional support may be beneficial.

For Schools & Community Partnerships

When home and school
speak the same language.

Children flourish when the adults in their lives are working from the same foundation. ESW partners with schools and caregiving institutions to build that alignment through three areas of support: professional development for educators and caregiving staff, family parenting workshops, and structured partnership programs. Together these create a shared understanding of child development and consistent strategies that strengthen the connection between home and school.

Educator & Caregiver Professional Development
Practical workshops and training sessions that equip educators and caregiving staff with a deeper understanding of child development, strategies for fostering supportive learning environments, and the tools to strengthen communication between school and home.
Family Parenting Workshops
Thoughtfully designed workshops that bring ESW's evidence-informed approach directly into the school community— giving families the knowledge and practical tools to reinforce their child's development at home.
School Partnership Programs
Flexible, structured engagements designed around your institution's specific mission, culture, and community — from a single professional development session to a sustained academic year partnership.

"When educators and families operate as partners, children benefit from clarity, stability, and the emotional foundation to grow with confidence."

Why It Matters

Home is where it all begins.

The home environment is the foundation of a child's long-term success
Small, consistent parenting shifts compound into lifelong advantages for children
Emotional wellness at home shapes confidence, resilience, and academic performance
Prevention is far more powerful — and far less costly — than intervention
Celebrating the journey of parenthood as part of a supportive community that empowers your own unique path as a parent.
